Feng Dazhong

Feng Dazhong nació en 1949 en Benxi, provincia de Liaoning. En la actualidad es miembro de la Asociación China de Artistas, miembro del consejo de los chinos Gongbi Asociación Pintores y vicepresidente de la Asociación de Artistas de Benxi.
Feng comenzó a aprender la epigrafía y la caligrafía bajo la tutela del veterano pintor Li Xiaoru cuando era un niño. Sin embargo, él aprendió a pintar de un modo muy duro. Es bueno dibujando  paisajes y animales donde logra conjugar la tradición y  cosas nuevas. Ha desarrollado un estilo elegante, audaz, sin restricciones, libre y fácil. Es particularmente conocido por su “Tiger”, elaborado en estilo Gongbi, que es aclamado como el mejor de tigres en China.

Feng Dazhong was born in 1949 in Benxi, Liaoning Province. He is now member of the Chinese Artists Association, council member of the Chinese Gongbi Painters Association and deputy chairman of Benxi Artists Association.
Feng began to learn epigraphy and calligraphy under the tutorship of veteran painter Li Xiaoru when he was a child. However, he learned painting in a really hard way. He is good at drawing landscapes and animals by carrying forward the traditions while creating new things. He has developed an elegant, bold, unrestrained, free and easy style of his own. He is particularly renowned for his “Tiger”drawn in Gongbi style, which is acclaimed as the best tiger in China. His work “First Snow”won the second class award at the International Exhibition of Paintings by Young Artists in 1985. His “Early Spring”won the gold medal at the First China Contemporary Gongbi Paintings Exhibition 1988. His work “Snow Glow”(1994) was awarded first-class prize at the Third Contemporary Chinese Gongbi Painting Exhibition. He also won the grand prize for Literature and Artworks in Liaoning Province for three years in a row. Eighteen of his works have been collected by the China Art Gallery. He exhibited his works on many occasions in Japan and Hong Kong. His publications include “Collection of Paintings by Feng Dazhong”and “Special Selection of Paintings by Fan Zeng, Song Yugui and Feng Dazhong”
