Liu Dawei (刘大为)

Lui Dawei nació en 1945 en Zhucheng , provincia de Shandong y se graduó en el Departamento de Mongolia Interior Universidad Normal de Bellas Artes. Continuó sus estudios en el Departamento de la pintura china de la Academia Central de Bellas Artes tras lo cual estudió con Vosotros Qianyu , Jiang Zhaohe , Li Keran , Wu Zuoren , Liu y Huang Zhou Lingcang .

El Sr. Liu actualmente es Vice Presidente de la Asociación de Artistas de China , así como Director del Departamento de Bellas Artes de la Academia de las Artes PLA más numerosas otras Sociedades de arte chinos.

Liu Dawei es especialmente hábil con la pintura de figuras . La mayor parte de sus pinturas son bien conocidos por lo que refleja la vida cotidiana de las razas minoritarias del Noroeste de China. Muchos de pintura de Lui Dawei han competido en competiciones nacionales e internacionales de arte en el que han ganado más de 30 premios. Una de las pinturas del Sr. Liu fue elegido como regalo nacional que el presidente Jiang Zemin dio a los líderes de Japón en su 1992 Visita de Estado a Japón.

El profesor Liu , en virtud de sus logros artísticos y su papel activo en la Asociación de Artistas de China ha ganado una amplia aclamación como una de Chinas destacados artistas modernos y como un modelo a seguir viviendo a muchos pintores chinos actuales.

Lui Dawei was born in 1945 in Zhucheng, Shandong Province and graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Inner Mongolia Normal University.  He continued his studies at the Chinese Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts following which he studied with Ye Qianyu, Jiang Zhaohe, Li Keran, Wu Zuoren, Liu Lingcang and Huang Zhou.

Mr. Liu is now Vice President of the China Artist Association as well as Director of the Fine Arts Department at the PLA Academy of Arts plus numerous other Chinese Art Societies.

Liu Dawei is especially proficient with figure painting.  Most of his paintings are well known for reflecting the daily life of the Northwest minority races of China.  Many of Lui Dawei’s painting have competed in national and international art competitions where they have won over 30 awards.  One of Mr. Liu’s paintings was chosen as a national gift that President Jiang Zemin gave to the leaders of Japan on his 1992 State Visit to Japan.

Professor Liu by virtue of his art accomplishments and his active role in the China Artist Association has won wide acclamation as one of Chinas outstanding modern artists and as a living role model to many current Chinese painters.
